Choices for everyone: meat eaters, vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free.
We have been eating here pretty much since we first moved to Marin in 2012. They have fabulous, reasonably-priced entrees, Â but the best deal by far are the buffets. Everything is delicious, and if you have dietary restrictions it’s all clearly marked so you know what you can eat. I’m gluten intolerant and have never gotten sick eating here.
This is my go to restaurant in San Rafael for Indian food. It’s always fresh, and ALWAYS delicious. I’m such a foodie, and everything on the menu is a hit. Swing buy during lunch for an awesome lunch buffet, or come after dinner to enjoy a mango lassi and some chicken tikka masala. Staff is friendly, the décor is lovely, and parking isn’t a hassle. (Enter through the back of the restaurant as there is a parking structure behind it. AND if you park after 6pm, no need for quarters).
Oh, AND this place delivers. YES!Elizabeth R., Corte Madera, United States
I ate dinner and a buffet lunch at Taj, and the food is great and very reasonably prices. Chai is included in the buffet price, as well as masala dosa fixings and several desserts. The service was quick, and I will go there again.minimuffinlover, Seattle, WA
$10.95 buffet with a good selection of dishes. Lots of gluten-free dishes including gluten-free naan bread. Tasty curries and classic dishes such as idli and sambar. Take out also available.WillForbes, Larkspur, California
Indian food is always been very special to me. I’m a big fan of spices. You can go from a beautiful space on your pallets all the way up to some nice fire from some of the papers that they put in the spices. And when I’m real hungry I love going to touch because they have a massive buffet…Thomas B, San Rafael, California
Super food, great service, good price. Tremendous number of vegetarian options on buffet. I love the Navrattan Korma and the Malai Kofta. They also have mango ice cream and rice pudding for dessert.AmySanRafael, San Rafael
